Helsinki 4 Days Tour  

Day 1

Upon arrival in Helsinki, make your way to the hotel to check in for 3 nights (private transfer available at additional cost).4 Star Glo Hotel Art.Check in from 14.00 hrs.

Day 2

After breakfast, our English speaking tour guide will meet you at reception for an orientation tour of the city on foot. You will learn about the history of Finland and discover sights including Helsinki Cathedral, Market Square and the many different architectural styles in the city. Tickets are included to Rock Church a must see during your time in Helsinki.

Day 3

Day at leisure OR Optional tour to Porvoo or Suomenlinna Fortress – both are half day tours.

Porvoo – half day excursion.

Porvoo is Finland’s second oldest town and is famous for the cobbled streets of its Old Town and the traditional painted wooden warehouses which date from the 17th & 18th centuries. The central point of the Old Town is the medieval, stone and brick Porvoo Cathedral. After learning about the history of the town you are free to wander along the pedestrian streets with their selection of restaurants, coffee houses, antique shops and boutiques.

Suomenlinna Fortress– half day excursion.

Spread over six islands in the Helsinki archipelago, Suomenlinna Fortress is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular place for locals to have picnics or just take in the views! You will meet your guide at the pier where you will take a ferry to Suomenlinna. Once there you will have a guided tour through the fortress, visit its museums and learn about its colourful history!

Day 4 

After breakfast at your hotel, check out by 12.00 noon.

The Glo Hotel Art is located in the design district area of Helsinki, surrounded by interesting shops and galleries. The original part of the hotel was an Art Nouveau castle built in 1903 and today combines the old with elegant modernity. Rooms are very comfortably furnished and have ensuite bathroom, TV and WiFi.
